Jimmy Appleman Memorial Play Day

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 - 8:00 am – 8:00 pm

All Ages Welcome to Come and Enjoy a Day of Marathon Baseball and Softball! Boys, Girls, Men, Women & Co-ed Teams are invited to come and play ball on the field at Modern Woodmen Park!! Teams will be paired with other similar teams for a one-hour time slot. This is a great opportunity to enjoy playing “like the pros” in a family atmosphere for fun and lasting memories!

Jimmy Appleman James “Jimmy” Appleman died October 24, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. He had a passion for life, for his friends, and for his family. Jimmy was an avid supporter of youth and youth programs in the Quad City Area and is remembered as a man of great character, who always put a smile on your face, and lived life to the fullest.

Cost Per Team: $150 for 1 hour of “Playing Time”.
Children’s Activities. . . Crafts, Face painting, Dunk Tanks, Games, Caricatures,
Kids Zone. . . includes a giant slide, inflatables, a fast pitch, a playground, and more! Bake Sale, Raffles
